Privacy at a glance
Your diaries, financial entries, schedules, profiles, and personal notes are used for on-device features. The developer does not receive their contents.
PUBLIC RELATIONS DIARY
This is the official public support page for Public Relations Diary. It explains how the app handles your data, how optional Pro subscriptions work, the app’s copyright terms, and how to contact the developer.
Your diaries, financial entries, schedules, profiles, and personal notes are used for on-device features. The developer does not receive their contents.
Apple processes purchases, renewals, and cancellations. The app receives entitlement status but never receives or stores your payment card details.
For privacy, copyright, licensing, subscription, or app support questions, contact the developer using the public email address below.
This Privacy Policy applies to the iOS app Public Relations Diary, provided by Victoria Cheng, and its related support pages. If cloud sync, third-party sign-in, analytics, or other services are added in the future, this policy may be updated before or when those features become available.
The app does not require a government-issued identifier, payment card, postal address, or telephone number. Any personal or contact information you voluntarily enter is stored for your own use in the app and is not transmitted to the developer.
App records and preferences are stored locally within the app’s storage on your device so that you can review, search, edit, and analyze them later. The developer does not operate a server that receives or centrally stores these records.
You can create a password-protected backup from Settings → Back Up Data. Backup contents are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, using a key derived from your password with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256. Your password is not sent to or stored by the developer and cannot be recovered by the developer. You choose where to save the backup file and are responsible for keeping both the file and password secure.
Deleting the app, clearing its data, resetting your device, or replacing your device may permanently remove data that you have not separately backed up. Backup files you previously exported remain in the location you selected until you delete them there.
Your data is not used for advertising, cross-app or cross-website tracking, or data brokerage. Diary contents are not sold or shared with third parties by the developer.
When you choose to export a backup or report, the app passes the file to the iOS Files or share interface. A storage provider, cloud service, recipient, or other destination you select will handle that file under its own terms and privacy policy.
You may enable App Lock using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. Authentication is performed by iOS; the app and developer do not receive your biometric data or device passcode. App Lock is an access-control feature and does not replace your device’s passcode and built-in security protections.
If you enable reminders, iOS schedules notifications on your device. By default, reminder text avoids showing names or diary contents; you may choose in Settings to display more detailed notification content. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings at any time.
The app currently has no developer-operated member account, third-party sign-in, developer cloud sync, advertising SDK, or analytics backend. Optional Public Relations Diary Pro access is offered through auto-renewable subscriptions processed by Apple’s App Store. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment processing are handled through your Apple Account. StoreKit provides the app with product information and subscription entitlement status, but neither the app nor the developer receives or stores your payment card details or complete Apple Account payment information. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
The app’s subject matter and content are not directed to children. Local data is held within the app’s iOS sandbox, and encrypted backup files provide additional protection for user-initiated exports; however, no security measure can guarantee absolute protection.
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app, legal requirements, or operations. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
